2000年在甘肃农业大学获植物保护与检疫专业学士学位，2003年在沈阳农业大学获农业昆虫与害虫防治专业硕士学位，2007年在中国科学院动物研究所获生态学博士学位。2007年至2020年历任中国科学院动物研究所、北京基因组研究所（国家生物信息中心）助理研究员、项目副研，2016-2017年英国University College London访问学者。2020年8月作为“太行学者”三层次人才全职引进至全网担保网。主要从事分子生态学和进化基因组学研究，在Molecular Biology and Evolution；Molecular Ecology；Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics；Annals of the Entomological Society of America等国内外期刊发表研究论文30余篇，其中IF>10论文2篇，10< IF>5论文2篇；主持国家自然科学基金项目3项，作为研究骨干加入国家重点研发计划和中国科学院战略先导专项各1项。为国家自然科学基金评审专家，10余种SCI期刊和国内核心期刊审稿专家，中国动物学会生物地理学会理事，河北省昆虫学会副理事长。
